The challenge:
Tomen Corporation, a general trading company headquartered in Japan, having global operations
and subsidiaries around the world, is active in a broad range of business domains worldwide. Technology excellence and being up-to-date is one of the biggest challenges for their IT department TISCO. And as market leader they had to get platform-independent, giving their customers the choice to select the best fit infrastructure to run their businesses with Tomen.

The solution:
An Oracle/Windows solution was generated from the existing RPG and Cobol code. In addition, an attractive Windows GUI was designed and implemented which can be connected to all platforms without the limits of the 5250 data stream.
