Partezis Partezis‘ customers benefit from integrated application development on
Oracle platform
The challenge: Partezis is Belgium’s largest ISV providing complete software solutions for the healthcare sector with a product portfolio of about 25 applications for administrative, financial, medical, medical-technical and healthcare support tasks. Partezis wanted to offer their applications on further platforms: their customers expected application integration and hardware independence. A complete rewrite of the applications would have been too time-comsuming and expensive as well as requiring maintenance for different code bases.
The solution: Migration with the AX/ware Migration Tools 400 to UNIX and Windows. Adjustments to the Partezis specific requirements were facilitated by AX/ware’s object oriented architecture and the rule based transformation process. After the migration framework worked as desired, a native Oracle solution on Sun Solaris platform was generated directly from the existing IBM iSeries code base.
